The Taylor Company, a division of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, names Emerson Climate Technologies’ Hartselle, Alabama and Sidney, Ohio Plants in Supplier Performance Top Ten

ST. LOUIS, April 23, 2007 – Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announced today that two of its plants have been ranked in the top ten suppliers for Taylor Company, a division of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration. The Emerson Climate Technologies’ Hartselle, Alabama and Sidney, Ohio plants, both Taylor Certified Suppliers, achieved top ten status out of 129 total Taylor Company suppliers.

Along with various supplier-services performance criteria, four key areas were measured in determining the top ten suppliers: quality, delivery, cost reduction and service. Emerson Climate Technologies scored well above the average performance criteria set by the Taylor Company for each key area and obtained the highest ratings for the supplier-services performance evaluation.
