Wholesaler Presents Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. with 2006 Vendor of the Year Award, Names White-Rodgers Runner-Up

ST. LOUIS, April 13, 2007 – Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announced today that Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of Copeland brand products, received the 2006 Vendor of the Year award from the C.C. Dickson Company, a leading refrigeration wholesaler. In addition, White-Rodgers, another business of Emerson Climate Technologies, was named as one of the five runners-up for this award.

The recipient of the 2006 Vendor of the Year award was chosen by C.C. Dickson branch personnel and was based upon four key criteria; branch support, delivery and quality, marketing support and the vendor’s overall impact on branch profitability. Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. received the award as a result of their many wholesaler-directed initiatives, including their extended branch support. Emerson Climate Technologies experts were frequently available at wholesaler locations throughout the country to help answer questions and move product off the shelf. Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. also excelled as a result of extensive branch merchandising efforts, various showcase events and overall wholesaler support.
